Editorial Discovery - The Anastasia of Winter

Recently while browsing through Pinterest I stumbled across an editorial featuring one of my favourite models Lindsey Wixson for the December issue of Vogue Japan. The shoot 'The Anastasia of Winter' was inspired by a Russian snowfall and featured Lindsey in Russian doll like clothing and make up, outside elaborate Russian buildings and winter woodland scenes. I loved the uniqueness and couture edge to the shoot as I had never seen anything quite like it before, and it is unusual for me to like something this detailed as normally I like quite minimalist shoots, but I love the royal clothing from Dolce & Gabanna and the perfect doll like make up.
