This season Burberry took a fresh outlook on silhouette, normally they go for a harsh, stern look with their signature trenches, but this season it was a lot lighter with layers of chiffon and scarves tied at the waist with a belt. Also this season Christopher Bailey used a lot of colour and pattern which again is unusual for Burberry, but I have to say I love it, the softer silhouttes and fabric and a more feminine touch and the colour is great for a change of an all black winter! Below are some of my favourite looks from the show.
The tote bags matched the print within the clothing and were all handpainted. I love how they're quite long which is unusual for a tote because not only will it fit more but it just gives an edge and looks a bit different from the average bag. The shoes were again hand paintes and were little peep toe ankle booties which got darker throughout the show. Nothing too over the top to distract from the clothes.
The hair and make up was the one thing that was kept typically Burberry. The make up look consisted of a wash of aubergine over the eyelid, a nucd lip and fresh dewy skin, I love the slightly purple toned eye as opposed to the regular brown as it just gives a nice wash of colour that works well with the colour in the clothes. The hair was supposed to resemble second day hair, with a bit of grit and wave, and of course typically Burberry it looked amazing!
