Moodboards

My second brief at uni was all about mood boards, we had to pick our favourite brand and create a moodboard out of magazine cuttings that connoted our brands image and beliefs but never actually used the brand name, logo or images. I chose Dior as I love the chic parisian elegance contrasted with the edgyness and moderninity of their recent collections. I cut out pictures I thought were of relevance like golden interiors, edgy make up looks and small squares of colour which I lined next to each other to indicate a colour palette and this was the finished product!

As you can see I left a lot of negative space as I like the idea of being able to see the white against all the different colours. I also added an image of a mans face as it just reminded me of a Dior Homme advert with the black and white and stern looking man. All together I was very happy with the outcome and am looking forward to creating more within the brief.
