Coffe Table/Desktop Books

I love fashion reference books and since moving to uni I have loved having a desk to display some of my favourites on. I think they look really classic and are useful for holding things like candles and ornaments on, but also really good for referencing ideas and designers for projects. These are some of my favourites at the moment!

 My current little setup
Blow by Blow is actually the biography of Isabella Blow by her husband Detmar Blow and it is a fantastic read, it was thoroughly entertaining and gave a really good insight into her life and her talent, and her relationship with McQueen.
Vogue Fashion is great for fashion history as it gives account from every decade since Vogue began.
Grace is probably my favourite out of them all, it is renowned Vogue creative directors Grace Coddingtons memoir, and I love this book as Grace career is what I aspire to achieve, it was so interesting to hear about her experiences and stories and her opinion on fashion, lifestyle and photography.
Chanel collections and creations is great for referencing classical imagery or looking for inspiration for creating your own imagery as it has lots of beautiful pictures from when it was created by Coco Chanel, right up till today.
Paris Vogue Covers is another great book about fashion history but also contains great images of all the previous Paris Vogue covers which is great to look through but also gives great inspiration for creative imagery.
