1930s Hollywood Glamour Photoshoot

I was recently looking through some of my Art Foundation work and came across one of my favourite projects, which was a garment re-construction project. We had to buy a garment from a charity shop and re-construct it in our chosen theme, mine was the 1930's a mix of Hollywood glamour and great financial depression. I wasn't so interested in the re-construction part but couldn't wait for the photo shoot side of it at the end, so my design was really simple and plain but I think I made up for it in my photo shoot. As the dress was really glamorous and the hair and make up was typical to 1930's Hollywood Glamour I wanted the location to contrast that so I chose the abandoned department store above the shop I worked in as it was decaying and derelict and I thought it would add extra drama to the shoot. I worked with a photographer friend whop helped me take and edit the photos and I was so happy and proud of the outcome, hope you enjoy!
